Hey guys!
So I decided to cook today. If you know me, you would know that I’m only a good cook when it comes to breakfast. Yes, that’s right! I’m the Master at making toast, eggs, and bacon! One time my oldest kid told his dad that my toast is his favorite food I make. Now it’s our little joke every time I’m in the kitchen. He’s like, “Mom, what are you making? Toast?” with such a sarcastic tone.

Anyways on to the point of this blog. I cooked a beef chuck roast in the crockpot for about 6 hours, homemade collard greens, baked mac and cheese, homemade mashed potatoes and of course some Sara Lee Hawaiian Rolls. I must say it’s officially known to my house mates that I can cook more than just toast.
I found the awesome recipes on Pinterest, they never let me down when I need to make a meal. I’ll post the links below for the roast, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. With the baked mac and cheese I winged it.
- Roast Me: So the roast came out perfect, I wasn’t expecting this greatness.

- Collards Made Me Holler: The collards were amazing! The cook time needs to be a little longer if you’re using a crockpot but other than that I have no complaints!

- Mashed Potatoes and Chill: The mashed potatoes turned out lovely. They were so creamy. I used garlic salt instead of regular salt and it was the BOMB!

I can’t wait to see what Pinterest recipes I find next to cook for my boys. Maybe next time I’ll take pictures so you guys can see how awesome it turns out.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a Corny day. 🖤
